Kildermott which means "Dermott's church" was a townland somewhere in the region of the modern day townland of [[Mounty Darby]].  However, no records or physical evidence has been found on where this church may have been.  It is possible that a chapel pre-dating [[St McCartans, Drumswords]] stood somewhere in this historic townland.
