History
Probably originally part of Robert Calvert’s grant. The part of this townland nearest Derrymeen is known as Mullylust, which is recorded as a separate townland in the Tithe Applotment Book. This is an early record made to record the amount of tithes to be paid to the Established Church. Since it was based on land held, people who had only a house rented might be left out. It is dated 1823-37 therefore we only used it in a few cases.
